CERTIFIED FAMILY LAW SPECIALIST: Since January 2007, Linda has been certified and recertified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Family Law Specialist. The North Carolina State Bar certifies lawyers as specialists in designated practice areas as a service to the public. The program assists members of the public in the selection of legal counsel by identifying lawyers who have demonstrated special knowledge, skill, and proficiency in certain areas of law.

PROFESSIONAL: In practice as a partner with the firm of Block, Crouch, Keeter, Behm & Sayed, L.L.P. since 2005; Associate attorney with Block, Crouch & Keeter, L.L.P. 1998-1999 and 2001 to 2004; Associate attorney with Ward & Smith, P.A. 1999-2001; former teacher and administrator with New Hanover County Schools (1979-1986); instructor at University of North Carolina at Wilmington (1985-1993); admitted to North Carolina State Bar (1998); admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina (1999) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (2000); NC Certified Family Financial Mediator.

PERSONAL: Born Panama Canal Zone, November 18, 1957; grew up in North Carolina; married since 1980; three adult children and several grandchildren.
