Property Transactions
We represent buyers, sellers, and developers in transactions ranging from purchasing and selling residential lots and homes to representing and advising clients in the planning, financing, constructing, selling, and leasing of commercial property. We handle lien claims, zoning issues, and land use regulatory matters. Our attorneys are approved for all major title insurance companies and lending institutions in our State.
Wills, Estate Planning and
Estate Administration
Our attorneys help families plan for their future needs by preparing estate plans, wills, living wills, health care powers of attorney, and general powers of attorney. We help clients to obtain a legal guardian when a loved one is no longer competent to manage his or her own affairs. When a loved one dies, we provide estate administration and advise surviving family members in the proper conduct of their personal and business affairs.
Mediation and Arbitration
Some of our attorneys assist others to resolve disputes through mediation or arbitration to avoid the aggravation and expense of a trial. Our firm was affiliated with the Duke Private Adjudication Center, an organization recognized throughout the state for its excellence in conflict resolution, during its last several years of existence. One of our members is currently an arbitrator with The Arbitration Group.
