Mediation and Arbitration

Mediation and arbitration are alternatives to resolve a dispute without litigation.

Both procedures are private and allow the parties and their attorneys more flexibility in scheduling and conducting either a mediation or arbitration. In mediation, the parties work with their attorneys and a trained mediator to fashion a resolution to their dispute. In arbitration, the parties and their counsel select one arbitrator, or in many cases three arbitrators, to conduct a hearing, make a decision and enter an arbitration award. Members of Block, Crouch, Keeter, Behm & Sayed, LLP have extensive experience in mediation and have served as arbitrators in cases involving a variety of legal claims.
