Linda is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist focusing her practice on family law, including divorce, child support, child custody, equitable distribution, alimony and enforcement of orders.

Linda also handles military divorce cases and retirement account and pension division orders. She prepares premarital, post-marital and separation agreements, assists with adoptions and name changes, and litigates all family law issues. Linda is also a North Carolina Certified Family Financial Mediator and was trained in collaborative family law in 2002 and 2018.

Linda was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1957 where her father was stationed with the U.S. Army.. She grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina, married in 1980, has three grown children and several grandchildren. She previously practiced as an associate attorney with Ward & Smith, P.A. Formerly, Linda was a chemistry teacher and administrator with New Hanover County Schools and an instructor and administrator at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She has been a partner in the firm since 2005. Linda loves being a family law attorney and advocating for her clients!
